The ABC Motsepe League provincial playoffs are set as the league has reached its climax, with more teams securing the South African football third-tier provincial playoffs.
As anticipated, goals and drama are what the amateur league produced over the weekend.
Teams showed their desire to finish top and book a place in the national playoffs to gain promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
And SAFA would be proud that the third-tier league has been a success without too many shenanigans as compared to other seasons.
But so far, only six provinces have managed to complete their campaign except for Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and Western Cape, which have not concluded yet.
The stream winners will face each other in the provincial playoffs to decide who will represent their respective provinces at the national playoffs.
In the Limpopo province, Mpheni Home Defenders were the first team to win their stream with only one loss for the entire season since the league was split into two streams.
Meanwhile, The Dolphins were the only team to amass 28 points out of the 40 points in the field of play and the rest were walkovers.
