Mamelodi Sundowns and Bamamuru confirmed their starting lineups for their CAF Champions League second-leg encounter at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
It’s been three weeks since Sundowns defeated Bamamuru in Tanzania in the first leg of CAFCL. Downs booked a place in the final of MTN8, they now have one foot into the group stages of CAFCL after a 4-0 win away from home.
The DStv Premiership champions also broke a long-standing Kaizer Chiefs Premier Soccer League of 31 games undefeated.
The Burundian side needs to overcome a 4-0 deficit to make it to the group stages of the competition. Meanwhile, Downs needs only a draw or lose with a three-goal margin to have the spot.
