Sithebe – How Ntseki Motivates Chiefs Stars

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe has discussed which words head coach Molefi Ntseki uses to try to get the best out of his players.

Ntseki had a tough start at Naturena, picking up just one point from his first three league games, but he has somewhat turned a corner and has now three wins from their last four games in all competitions.

Sithebe has only featured in one game this season so far, but has now opened up on the demands Ntseki puts on his side.

“I wouldn’t say he demands much from us but he always motivates us,” he told iDiski Times in an exclusive interview in edition 120.

“He would always say ‘Kaizer Chiefs is a big team, we need to be calm and the results will come’.

“The coach always says we must stay positive and have that positive energy. He always assures us that, if we keep things that way, we will win.”

When asked to describe his own stay at Amakhosi, Sithebe admitted that he is now used to how things are run at the club and what the supporters expect.

“Obviously now it’s my second season, now I know what is happening there, what the coach wants, and at the village and even supporters,” he added.

“Now I know what the people who are supporting us, what they want. So for me now is to adjust and keep on being consistent.”

You can read the full interview with Sithebe as well as his Chiefs teammate Edmilson Dove in this week’s iDiski Times newspaper, edition 120, which is freely available on our website.
