South African football coach Pitso Mosimane has taken to social media to express his gratitude after a day well spent with friends and family to mark the birthday of his cherished wife Moira.
A Special Day
“We celebrated my beautiful wife’s birthday; it was a special day,” expressed Mosimane, who also thanked Mafikizolo singer Nhlanhla Mafu for surprising his wife on her special day.
Gratitude from Moira
Mosimane’s wife, Moira, also took to social media to express gratitude for the outpouring of love she witnessed on her birthday. “A lovely birthday lunch,” she said. “Thank you for all the lovely messages, and thank you to our amazing friends for joining us this afternoon. Truly blessed.”
Taking a Break from Coaching
After announcing his decision to step down as coach of Al Ahly in 2022, Pitso Mosimane joined Gugulethu Mfuphi for an exclusive sit-down on Kaya Biz. Mosimane expressed that it was normal for elite managers to take a break from coaching. “Sometimes you move to another continent, or probably you step back and take a rest. Big coaches like Ancelotti and Pep Guardiola have done that. Zidane has won three Champions Leagues, and he is not coaching. So I’m happy to take a break, and I’m happy to wake up at 11 a.m., and I’m happy that I am not accountable to anybody at this point in time,” said the coach.
