Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns have learnt which teams they will face in the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
As one of the highest-ranked teams in Africa, Mamelodi Sundowns were among the 10 teams, who are exempted from the first preliminary round.
They will only enter the competition in the second preliminary round, where they will face the Bumamuro of Burund after they defeat Bendji from Gabon 6-2 on aggregate.
After the first leg had ended 1-1, Bumamuro put on a show in the second leg, beating their opponents 5-1.
Meanwhile, Pirates will face Botswana Premier League champions Jwaneng Galaxy, who are coached by Morena Ramoreboli.
Galaxy lost 2-1 to Vipers on Saturday but progressed 3-2 on aggregate after winning the first leg 2-0 at home. The deciding away goal for Galaxy only came on the 88th minute after the hosts had raced to a 2-0 first-half lead.
The second preliminary round is played between 15 and 17 September and 30 Sep to 1 October. All winners of the second preliminary round will qualify for the CAFCL group stages.
