Orlando Pirates eased into the 2nd round of the CAF Champions League qualifiers with a 4-0 aggregate win over Djabal FC.
After the 1-0 win in Comoros courtesy of a late winner from Zakhele Lepasa, Pirates were in control of the tie against the minnows at Orlando Stadium.
Lepasa had the bulk of the chances spurning two in the opening 20 minutes but managed to find the opener with a powerful header shortly after.
The Buccaneers took the lead to the break and the visitors were largely on the backfoot throughout and not looking to be very adventurous.
And Pirates made them pay as they tired out in the second half as Patrick Maswanganyi netted his first for the club in competitive fixtures with an effort from just outside the area – before turning provider for Lepasa to net his eighth of the season a few minutes later.
The Buccaneers will now face Jwaneng Galaxy or Vipers in the next round of the competition.
