WHY ADEBAYOR IS YET TO JOIN AMAZULU FC
The 26-year-old winger from Niger, who played for Botola Pro side RS Berkane in Morocco, has applied for his Visa and is awaiting approval from the Department of Home Affairs.
“We’ve signed Adebayor from Niger. He was playing for a team in Morocco. Unfortunately, he’s waiting for his visa,” Sandile Zungu told FARPost.
“He’s still stuck in Niger. He’s been signed, we’re just waiting for the visa. The last we checked, the air space was closed in Niger.”
The Durban outfit already have Yakhouba Gnagna Barry arriving from Conakry, Guinea, after penning a deal with the club.
“With those two plus Sede Dion and Riaan Hanamub, we’ve got a good foreign contingent to make the starting line-up any day.”
WHERE DID ADEBAYOR PLAY?
