Siya Kolisi’s much-publicised return inspired the Springboks to a commanding 52-16 win over Wales in a World Cup warm-up match in Cardiff on Saturday.
The 32-year-old flanker was in the thick of things early on and even produced a brilliant off-load to Malcolm Marx, who scored the Boks’ first try of the match.
Kolisi played his first match in four months following a knee injury he suffered while playing for the Sharks. Following the injury, many fans feared he would miss the World Cup but the star miraculously recovered just in time before the tournament.
