Mamelodi Sundowns duo Promise Mkhuma and Keletso Makgalwa could be loaned out to the University Of Pretoria, iDiski Times has learnt.
The duo had a promising start to their career when they both made their debut for Sundowns in the DStv Diski Challenge.
Makgalwa was even seen as a super-sub under coach Pitso Mosimane because of his impact from the bench.
He made his debut for Sundowns in January 2018 and has since racked up 37 appearances for the club.
However, he failed to cement a spot in the first team and has previously been loaned out to Maritzburg United, Swallows FC, TS Galaxy and All Stars, with another loan seemingly looming.
Mkhuma also never really lived up to the expectations but he showed some glimpses of a good technical player.
He made his debut in August 2020 and made 23 appearances for Masandawana overall. However, with the immense quality among the current crop of players at Chloorkop it has become difficult for him to make it through, and he was on loan to All Stars in January.
This publication understands that both Mkhuma and Makgalwa could now be joining AmaTuks in Motsepe Foundation Championship on loan ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Both players haven’t returned to Chloorkop for medicals and assessments, as the club is looking to find external solutions for them.
