SNOW of more than 10cm is expected in these parts of South Africa this week.
According to VoxWeather forecaster Annette Botha, light snow is expected on Tuesday over the Western Cape Mountains, which includes the Matroosberg and Cederberg Mountains.

Lamola explains why Bester wears flashy designer clothes in court
The Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Ronald Lamola, has explained why convicted rapist and murderer Thabo Bester has worn flashy clothes during his court appearances in Bloemfontein despite being a convict.

Bester was arrested earlier this year after escaping from the Mangaung Correctional Centre (MCC), where he was serving a life sentence plus 75 years, in May 2022.

Man sentenced for stealing R950 on CIT robbery scene
A man of Mpumalanga has been sentenced to pay an R500 fine after he stole R950 from a cash-in-transit robbery scene earlier this year.
According to a report by News24, Timothy Mashego pleaded guilty to theft and was found guilty in the Hazyview Magistrate’s Court.

Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Thandi Tshabalala said there was a CIT robbery on the R40 road in Hazyview on 25 January.
