Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela has sent a message to Siyabonga Ngezana after his move to 26-time Romanian league champions FCSB.
Ngezana, 25, signed for FCSB last week, becoming the second Amakhosi youth product to complete a move overseas after Njabulo Blom joined St. Louis City in December.
He made his debut for the Glamour Boys in a 3-0 win over AmaZulu in the Telkom Knockout Cup in October 2017 under Komphela.
Overall, he made 16 appearances under the now Mamelodi Sundowns First Team Coach, who left Chiefs in April 2018, but still holds Ngezana close to his heart and sent him a message ahead of his move to Europe.
“Good luck tata. Always stay humble with controlled aggression. Work even harder and be ready for new unfamiliar challenges,” he wrote on social media.
“Embrace them, smile with them and overcome them to conquer. Take deep and serious pride in your strides.
“Strive not to return anytime soon. Strive to write [your] own history and accomplish your goals and dreams. The kid next is drawing inspiration from you. Stay blessed
“Hamba ubadle ngamazinyo, ubahlafune, ungasabi lutho. Abasabe wena. Enjoy the journey and go make friends.”
Ngezana has racked up 115 games for Amakhosi since graduating to the first team as a teenager in the 2016/17 season.
