Richards Bay have announced their first two signings ahead of the 2023/24 campaign on Saturday afternoon.
The Natal Rich Boyz who struggled in the second half of the 2022/23 season, ending the campaign with 15 games without a win.
However, they survived relegation based on their strong first half of the season and are planning ahead for the campaign.
On Saturday, they confirmed the signings of Marumo Gallants duo Lucky Mohomi and Letsie Koapeng via a statement on their social channels.
Meanwhile, Bay are also understood to have wrapped up the signing of Umsinga trio Thobani “Mtsiri” Mthembu, who is the leading goalscorer in the ABC Motsepe League play-offs, Nkululeko “Mkhulise” Miya and Bandile “Mzambiya” Ndlovu after their impressive performances at the ABC Motsepe League play-offs.
The club was understood to have agreed a deal in principle with Josef Zinnbauer as new coach, but the former Orlando Pirates coach joined Raja Club Athletic instead.
They are yet to make an announcement on the future of Vasili Manousakis.
