Sifiso Hlanti has reportedly done enough to impress the Kaizer Chiefs management, earning him a contract extension at the club!
Hlanti’s contract was coming to a close at the end of the month, but reports suggest the club had an option to extend.
The Glamour Boys have reportedly triggered that extension, meaning Hlanti is now set to remain a Glamour Boy until at least 2025!
The 33-year-old Bafana Bafana international joined the club in 2021 and has made a total of 38 appearances for the Amakhosi!

“You know why the team was not panicking with Sifiso Hlanti? It is because they knew they have an option.” an insider told SoccerLaduma.
“And you know once there is an option, the club has the first option or the right to keep the player and that’s what Kaizer Chiefs did.
“They have used the option and then added another year. This means it’s like two new years until 2025.”
In other news, Swallows FC chairman David Mogashoa has confirmed that he’ll be willing to re-sign struggling Kaizer Chiefs defender Njabulo Ngcobo.
Ngcobo has struggled to replicate the form that saw him win the Defender of The Season award with Swallows.
Despite being at Naturena for two seasons now, Ngcobo hasn’t adjusted to life as a Glamour Boy.
And now, Swallows FC chairman David Mogashoa has offered him a ‘get out of jail free’ card!

“Very disappointed, I think he’s also disappointed that he did not get game time. I’m open to talks if they (Kaizer Chiefs) want to send him out, I’m willing to take him.” – Swallows FC chairman David Mogashoa told SoccerLaduma.
“He did very well at Swallows. I always say to people the pressure at Swallows is not the same pressure at Chiefs. You can be a very good player at Swallows and be a bad player at Chiefs.”
