PSL Announce 2022/23 Awards Nominees

The Premier Soccer League has started to announce the first nominees for this year’s PSL awards.

Another stellar domestic campaign is coming to an end, with Mamelodi Sundowns crowned as league champions, securing their sixth title in a row with seven games to spare.

Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates have lifted the MTN8 early on in the campaign and the Buccaneers could complete a cup double, should they beat Sekhukhune United in the Nedbank Cup final.

With just one round of league football and the Ke Yona Cup final still to be played, the league has announced the nominees for this year’s PSL awards.

The PSL started with announcing the nominees for the Referee and Assistant Referee of the Season, before naming Monnapule Saleng, Miguel Timm and George Maluleka as the contenders for the MTN8 Last Man Standing.
