CR Belouizdad and Mamelodi Sundowns have announced their starting line-ups for this evening’s CAF Champions League quarter-final first leg at the Nelson Mandela Stadium.
Both are coming from a defeat domestically, with Belouizdad’s 19-match unbeaten run domestically coming to an end midweek when they suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Oran.
The Algerian Ligue 1 table toppers featured their second team in the clash with a plan of resting their starters.
Meanwhile, it is the fifth quarter-final for Downs in five seasons, as they they aim to reach their second final since 2016.
Rulani Mokwena’s side enter the game on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Stellenbosch which knocked out of the Nedbank Cup and was their first defeat under Mokwena as head coach.
