Actor Presley Chweneyagae faces accusations of being an absent father

Tsotsi actor Presley Chweneyagae was accused of not paying child support for a 16-year-old son. Baby mama Alletta Somfula exposes him on Moja Love’s Papgeld show.

Actor Presley Chweneyagae was confirmed as the father of a son with Alletta Somfula after DNA test. Somfula claims to have 5 court orders against him for unpaid child support.

Alletta Somfula became pregnant with their son in 2005. Actor Presley Chweneyagae requested a DNA test which confirmed he was the father. Chweneyagae also has two children with his wife, Paulina. Somfula claims to have five court orders against Chweneyagae for unpaid child support for their son, who is now in grade 10

Actor Presley Chweneyagae faces accusations of being an absent father

Alletta Somfula took actor Presley Chweneyagae to court in Mafikeng in 2007 for child support. Chweneyagae, who plays the character of Cobra or Cobreezy on The River, reportedly promised to pay R300 a month for their child. In 2014, Somfula moved the file to Tembisa, where Chweneyagae allegedly promised to pay R700 in maintenance.

However, Somfula claims he only paid R1000 before disappearing. She then moved the file to Kempton Park, where she currently resides. As it stands, Chweneyagae owes R58,800 in child support. Throughout the Papgeld episode on Moja Love, Chweneyagae ignored questions from the show’s presenter and Somfula.

It’s unclear whether the allegations are true since Chweneyagae has not commented in the issue.
