ABC Motsepe League wrap

The ABC Motsepe League has produced yet another fascinating set of showdowns across the country, with teams intending to gain promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.  

To add to that, goals, drama and fans’ abundant roars and rumbles from the stands are what the South African football third-tier has also delivered over the weekend.

CHAOS IN THE NORTHERN CAPE

In the Northern Cape, the game between Postmasburg and Kimberley Diamond City was abandoned.

According to Diamond City, they survived a war in Postmasburg as things got ugly.

Nonetheless, Diamond City and Upington City are still top of Stream A and B, respectively.

Meanwhile, Dondol Stars have consolidated their top spot in the Gauteng province after thrashing Dube Continental 4 – 0 at home. 

As things stand, Dondol are now seven points clear of second-placed Pele Pele in their provincial ABC League.
