Official: Galaxy Announce Latest Signing

TS Galaxy have announced the signing of Venezuelan winger Yaimil Medina Rodriguez, as previously reported by iDiski Times.

The goal-shy Rockets have opted to bolster their attacking options after scoring a league-low of 13 goals in their 20 games played.

While only Mamelodi Sundowns can better their defensive record of 11 goals conceded, they sit in 10th place, two points ahead of the relegation/promotion spot.

Medina has been added to Sead Ramovic’s options for the remainder of the season, as announced on Wednesday and already reported by this publication.

The 23-year-old boasts experience in the Venezuelan top-flight with Mineros and in Spain with Albacete, Recreativo de Huelva and Marbella.

Last season, he scored two goals in 13 games, having rejoined his boyhood at the half-way mark of the season.

He already made his Gallants debut, coming off the bench in the goalless draw against Kaizer Chiefs, where he was strangely brought on at half-time before being taken off again by coach Ramovic in the 86th minute.
