Ntsiki Mazwai and Penny Lebyane to pay DJ Fresh R280k for defamation. DJ Fresh won his legal battle against Ntsiki Mazwai and Penny Lebyane over defamation. The two have been trending of late. Ntsiki Mazwai and Penny Lebyane hogged headlines in several tabloids and news outlets after DJ Fresh revealed that they won a case against defamation.

The case was before the courts after Fresh made it known that he wanted to clear his name and maintain his reputation after he was embroiled in nasty r_ape allegations.

The case came in the backdrop after a woman accused DJ Fresh and DJ Euphonik of drugging and raping her and three other women at a party in Johannesburg in 2011. In the mix of the allegations, Ntsiki Mazwai and Penny Lebyane publicly labelled the DJ an abuser and rapist. However, the woman’s accusation was nullified in court due to insufficient evidence.

“Imagine being a girl who’s not famous trying to out your famous rapist abuser, ex-emotional abuser boyfriend, or even talk about your experience,” Penny wrote about the DJ.

All of these led to Fresh opening a case against them, and Ntski was ordered to pay the DJ R200 000, while Penny paid R80 000. It did not take long for Ntsiki to get the matter back to her and for her to take to the blue app to state why she had to pay over R200k to DJ Fresh after losing—in what seemed to be confirmation of DJ Fresh’s stance on Mazwai allegedly being a femi-nazi, meant to describe women who weaponise the feminist movement.

Ntsiki did not seem to take accountability but instead wanted to shift the reason she did not win the case to the public. Moreover, she alleges that her loss was proof that the legal system was flawed and influenced by money and who can “buy” the judges.

The DJ updated fans about the event on the latest episode of Mac G’s Podcast and Chill. Penny Lebyane, on the other hand, seems focused on moving on from the drama as she is alleged to owe R80k to pay for DJ Fresh’s legal fees following losing the case against her “ex” and longtime foe.
