ANOTHER tiger is on the loose in Edenvale, Gauteng.
The Edenvale SPCA confirmed this shocking news on Monday morning. Authorities are searching for the tiger on Cabot Road in Eastleigh Ridge – Edenvale.
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) will have a national shutdown on 20 March 2023 to protest the continuous load shedding.
Meanwhile, a man in his forties allegedly fell approximately 20 metres down a mountainside in Cape Town on Sunday afternoon, 29 January.

EFF to lead a national shutdown in March
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) will have a national shutdown on 20 March 2023 to protest the continuous load shedding.

EFF leader Julius Malema has called for a national shutdown to demand an end to the electricity crisis and also to force President Cyril Ramaphosa to resign as president of the country.
Malema said that the EFF believes the time has come for South Africans to demand their dignity and lives back. He made these remarks at a press conference on Sunday, 29 January 2023.

Man dies after falling from lookout point along Chapman’s Peak Drive
A man in his forties allegedly fell approximately 20 metres down a mountainside in Cape Town on Sunday afternoon, 29 January.
UPDATE: Chapman’s Peak: Witnesses say man lost balance before fatal fall
Wilderness Search and Rescue (WSAR) said it received an emergency call after a man fell from a viewing point along Chapman’s Peak Drive on Sunday.
“The man, believed to be in his 40s, fell at least 20 metres, down the sheer mountainside.

Corrie Pretorius sentenced for teen assault in Limpopo
Corrie Pretorius, who was caught on video assaulting and pointing a 16-year-old boy with a firearm, has the option to spend the next 12 months in prison or to pay a fine of R12 000.

He appeared at the Groblersdal magistrate’s court on Monday and pleaded guilty to the offences.
Corrie was sentenced on Friday, 27 January 2023 following his earlier conviction on a charge of assault with the intent to cause serious bodily harm.

Here’s when you can collect your SASSA grant THIS WEEK
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has released the social grants payment dates for February and beneficiaries can start collecting this week!
As previously reported by The South African website, in 2022 SASSA said it heard beneficiaries’ complaints about the previous payment schedule and decided to make a change.
SASSA said if the second day of the month falls on a weekend or public holiday, the payment will take place on the following work day.
