Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahli have collected back-to-back wins after beating second-placed Al Hazem 1-0 on Wednesday.
The South African tactician has remained unbeaten in his 11th game in Saudi Arabia and collected another important win that put his side back into the promotion spots.
It was another tight affair but a goal by Abdullah Al-Mogren in the 73rd minute was enough for Mosimane’s men to secure the three points.
The victory sees Al Ahli climb back into the promotion spots after teams around them had also picked up wins, which initially saw Mosimane’s side drop back into sixth ahead of kick-off.
They are now just three points behind log leaders Al-Faisaly and still have a game in hand.
Mosimane and his in-form side return to action next week Tuesday when they will take on ninth-placed Al-Jabalain.
Overall, Jingles has won 6 games and collected five draws since joining Al Ahli.
