Toussaint Bashala is an ambitious entrepreneur with a taste for the finer things in life.
While most people know him for his elite nightclub in Cape Town, the handsome businessman is someone’s partner and a father of two.
According to Bashala’s social media profile, he is an Investor and a Director.
The busy man has three main businesses, Saint Lounge, Saint Liquor Services, and Bash Properties.
The prominent businessman is a self-made man. He started his career as a DJ during his student days. After completing his studies in Industrial Engineering, he approached his brother Patrick Bashala for assistance in creating the successful club, which was initially called “All Saints,” IOL reported.
TOUSSAINT BASHALA OWNS SAINT LOUNGE
The high-end club made headlines last year when it threatened to reveal the names of top Saint Lounge creditors.
According to TshisaLive, customers who were owing the business at the time were added to a “most wanted” list and given days to settle their debt, or else their names would be exposed.
The “most wanted” customers owned Bashala between R90 000 to R224 000.
In the most recent revelations of the club, the Saint Lounge owner charged his customers R1 million for a table booking for one night with Senegalese-American musician Akon. The Lonely hitmaker was spotted in South Africa but never appeared for his gig.
“We have people who have dropped R2 million a night throughout the year. The million (for the New Year’s Eve table) included a full VIP experience, and there is a target for it, as it was booked,” IOL quoted Toussaint as saying.
He added,
“The clientele we cater to have money to spend. We get people in here every weekend who don’t mind spending a million. From politicians and athletes to South African celebrities,” IOL quoted.

THE CAPE TOWN BUSINESSMAN OWNS SAINT LIQUOR SERVICES
Toussaint also owns a convenient liquor delivery business in Cape Town. Judging by its social media presence, its customers have expensive taste buds. Champagne, whiskey, and cognac bottles are abundant on their Instagram page.
One alcohol menu that expired in 2020 that was posted on the company’s Instagram page showed bottles of wine priced at R120, Gin priced at R400, and one bottle of whiskey priced at R2000.
Speaking to IOL, Toussaint said that typically, his bottles range between R2000 to R185 000.
BASHALA’S REAL ESTATE BUSINESS, BASH PROPERTIES
Toussaint is also into the property business. He owns apartments in Zonnebloem, Cape Town. Spending a night at Bash Properties could charge patrons between R450 to R1500 per night. Longer stays are also accepted if one can pay R20 000 monthly rent.
