Somizi Mhlongo has weighed in on the cheating scandal which has sparked a conversation on social media. Actress Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa is accused of cheating with Justice Huni, who is married to Valentino Bango. Valentino released some audio recording of her and Enhle where she confronted her on their decision to ‘continue.’ Enhle then revealed in the recording that she did her research on polygamy.
Somizi Mhlongo has weighed in on the drama. Without mentioning any names, he defended side chicks saying wives should focus on reprimanding their husband’s.
“When are married women going to accept that the person who broke or breaks their marriage is their partner?” asked Somizi on Instagram.
“The person who owes you loyalty is your husband. The side owes you nothing. Had your husband the backbone to say no, these things would have never happened. You cannot decide what is morally right for the side chick,” he continued.
Somizi said women should not fight with the side chicks and rather deal with their men accordingly. He also advised that women should know when to leave.
“I am realistic that they don’t give a sh*t. The person supposed to give a sh*t is your partner … deal with your partner and leave, and leave with your dignity. Please love yourselves more. You shouldn’t be fighting. The minute you have to ask someone to chose between you and the other person, you have already lost”.
In the audio recording Valentino asks Enhle if she and her husband are willing to continue their relationship, to which she responds by saying they spoke about polygamy instead.
Valentino Bango said she doesn’t want isthembu, “As I have said to him, I do not want isthembu. I am not going to change my mind. Mina what I am hearing from him is that niyaqhubeka regardless of what I want.”
Enhle responds, “So him and I have business together, ventures that took place before we were anything. You were hurt when you spoke to me and I know that feeling. That’s not the feeling I want on anyone to go through. Which is why I kept silent and I took it in and I took your pain in. And I completely understood where you were coming from. Something brings me back and I was like you know what, let’s try. And from that trying I was telling him what I was doing, I had questions I was asking with regards to what it entails to be in isthembu, apart from watching couple of shows. I know people in South Africa, a couple of friends of friends that are in isthembu and I have done my homework and I understand that it needed to be received from home first.
The man in wuestion, Justie Huni responded to the allegations and denied being in a relationship with Enhle.
“It is with great regret that I have to use social media to address issues pertaining to my personal life. In the past few weeks, allegations were leveled by my wife, about my friend who is also my business associate, Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa. I categorically deny everything stated about Enhle pertaining to the nature of mine and Enhle’s relationship.
“I regrettably understand that my statement could be moments too late and a narrative built already about her, she is one of the boys and covered for me. She does not deserve any of this. I will throughout the process to assist in clarifying any more illegal footage from a significant other. This is a matter that needs to be handled within my household as other issues have been in the past and never has extended to any further to any other third party.”
