Superb Brazil Thrash South Korea

Brazil were in superb form on Monday, thrashing South Korea 4-1 in their round of 16 clash.

The Selecao already received a boost ahead of kick-off, with Neymar back in the starting XI.

Neymar assisted his side’s opener by Vinicius Jr after just seven minutes, with the Real Madrid winger scoring his first goal at the tournament.

Brazil’s No.10 then made it 2-0 from the penalty spot after just 13 minutes after Richarlison had been brought down.

The latter then scored his third at World Cup, finishing off a superb team move to make it 3-0 in the 29th minute.

A superb volley by Lucas Paqueta completed Brazil’s first-half rout in the 36th minute.

Brazil visibly took a foot off the paddle, with the only second-half coming from South Korea via a superb striker by Seung-Ho Park in the 76th minute.
