Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies have announced their starting XI to face ASFAR in CAF Women’s Champions League final.
The defending champions have a 100% record going into Sunday’s final, having won all of their games at this year’s tournament, scoring 12 goals and conceding just once.
However, Sunday’s opponents ASFAR have been equally prolific, collecting four wins from matches, netting six times and conceding one.
Downs Ladies won the maiden CAFWCL title last year after beating Hasaacas 2-0 in the final and have a chance to defend their title.
But, similar to Banyana Banyana, who defeated Women’s Africa Cup of Nations hosts Morocco in Morocco, Downs Ladies will have to overcome the hosts of the competition.
