Brenda Ngxoli has been in the entertainment industry for more than a decade and has a unique way of charming Mzansi with her acting skills. With her ability to nail every character she is given to portray, questions about her academic qualifications have been asked. The celebrated actress is a highly educated personality with a cabinet of educational certificates.

A look at Brenda Ngxoli’s academic qualifications and the institution she attended

Award-winning actress Brenda Ngxoli was born on 3 July 1981 in the Eastern Cape. She was raised in Kalk Bay Cape Town, where she attended primary and secondary education. She passed her secondary education with good grades that qualified her to enrol for tertiary education.

Brenda Ngxoli studied her tertiary education at the University of Cape Town, where she graduated with a BA in Theatre. Three years after securing her BA, she enrolled for a Performers Diploma in Speech and Drama graduation in 2000.

After graduating, Brenda Ngxoli made strides in the entertainment industry and landed her first television gig in Home Affairs, where she played Vuyokhadzi. She nailed her character as Vuyokhadzi to perfection, which resulted in her bagging other acting roles in prominent shows like My Perfect Family. Although she was making waves in her acting career, Brenda Ngxoli faced cyberbullying, abuse and other adverse circumstance and fled from the limelight to rediscover herself. While away from the celebrity lifestyle, Brenda ventured into farming and cattle breeding, and her business is booming.

After seven years out of the public eye, Brenda Ngxoli decided to resurrect her scrambling acting career and reconquer the big screen. The Ferguson Films gave her a chance to shine again when all odds were against her. Brenda gave a heartfelt tribute to the Ferguson Films founders Shona and Connie for a second shot in the film industry.

Brenda joined Ferguson Films’ telenovela The Queen in 2019, where she played Nomaprincess. She played her character to perfection, making Mzansi love to hate her. After being on The Queen for three years, Brenda announced that she was leaving the show for personal reasons. Well, it turned out that she was on maternity leave since she recently gave birth a few months after her exit from The Queen.
