Bafana Bafana striker Lyle Foster has continued his impressive first campaign in Belgium’s top flight after scoring a brace against champions Club Brugge.
Foster, 22, spent the 2021/22 campaign on loan at Westerlo, helping the side to gain promotion to the Jupiler Pro League before joining them on a permanent move on a four-year deal with the club.
He’s had an impressive start to his first top flight campaign, scoring five goals and assisting two more in his first 10 matches of the campaign.
Foster’s fine form came to show on Saturday, when he netted a brace against champions Club Brugge, securing his side a 2-0 away win.
Just days after Brugge defeat Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, Foster silenced the home crowd in the 53rd and 86th minute.
