South Africans to brace another week of load shedding
The struggling power utility will switch between the stage 3 and stage 4 load shedding schedules this week.
Between midnight and four in the afternoon – stage 3 of the power cuts will be implemented.
After that, stage 4 will kick in for eight hours.
This pattern will continue until Thursday.
The utility says it’s still experiencing capacity constraints due to planned maintenance and generation unit breakdowns.
Stage 3 loadshedding will continue to be implemented between 00:00 and 16:00 until Thursday, while Stage 4 loadshedding will be implemented daily during the evening peaks from 16:00 until 00:00 pic.twitter.com/HyfpJXkgV9
