Pirates & Maritzburg Confirm Starting XIs

Orlando Pirates and Maritzburg United will face each other this evening at the Harry Gwala stadium and the teams have confirmed their starting XIs ahead of the game.

Pirates head into this fixture on the back of an MTN8 quarterfinal win over Royal AM. Meanwhile, the Team of Choice come into this game following a DStv Premiership defeat against Royal AM.

The head-to-head history is quite one-sided, with Pirates dominating both home and away. Maritzburg United last beat Pirates in December 2016. John Maduka knows the importance of this encounter as three points would take them away from the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, a win for Ezimnyama ngenkani will take them back to the top of the table with 14 points.
