Actress Asavela Mnqithi blasts her absent father and Sundowns coach Manqoba Mnqqithi on social media. Celebrated Isibaya actress Asavela Mngqithi knows she wants nothing to do with her father, Manqoba Mngqithi since she is a deadbeat. She has been making all sorts of headlines after she swiped at her father on social media. The bubbly actress has it that she doesn’t want her success to be tied or liked to the Mamelodi Sundowns gaffer since he was absent in her upbringing, only trying to reach out in the wake of her newfound fame.
To make matters worse, she took it to social media to name and shame her father for being absent from her upbringing. Reports show that the actress is tired of people linking all her success and credit to her controversial father.
In the mix of things, Mzansi has been wondering who Manqoba Mngqithi is. Manqoba Mngqithi is a celebrated football tactician best known for his prolific Curriculum Vitae with Mamelodi Sundowns. However, he has recently coached several clubs in the Premier Soccer League (PSL). Taking it to Twitter, she posted:
“Whatever I have/will still achieve never credit all my hard work to manqoba mngqithi and his money. Ngihluphekile ngaphumelela engekho. If you have an opinion or inkinga Cela uyidle. Love and light I guess” wrote Asavela Mqokiyana

Taking under her comments, tweeps have told her not to quickly burn her bridges just yet, while referring to her non-existent relationship with her father, Manqoba Mngqithi. Here are some of the tweets that flooded social media:
“Who is crediting your hard work to Manqoba? Who is his hard work credited to? Just being his daughter gave u an advantage of winning & hard work genes, hence u think u r successful. A little respect will take you far, u r grown up, work hard for yourself” wrote Peter Makhubela
“Don’t be too quick to burn the bridges because you think you are now successful. Life is too short, what happens when the tides are reversed? Remember you are married to a man just like your father. Anything can happen, without being judgemental those are my two cents views” wrote My Glow Solution
