Former Isibaya actress Asavela Mngqithi now Mqokiyana breaks her silence about her father Manqoba Mnqqithi for being a deadbeat. Asavela Mqokiyana wants nothing of her success to be credited to his absent father.
The actress who recently got married in April has taken to social media to name and shame her father for being absent in her upbringing. Asavela Mqokiyana is just about tired of people linking all her successes to her father, Manqoba Mnqqithi.
Manqoba Mnqqithi is a celebrated football coach who is the head coach of Mamelodi Sundowns. Over the years Manqoba Mnqqithi has managed a number of football clubs in the Premier Soccer League (PSL), including Mamelodi Sundowns.
She has been met with difficult tweeps who has since called her out for naming and shaming her father on social media. The support Asavele Mqokiyana might have anticipated has been overruled by tweeps who are certainly not jumping for joy for her blasting her father.
Tweeps did not mince their words as they let Asavele Mqokiyana know what time it was. Taking under her comments, tweeps have told her to not quickly burn her bridges just yet, while referring to her non-existent relationship with her father, Manqoba Mnqqithi.
At the same token, some tweeps are empathetic to Asavele Mqokiyana’s situations and have shown her support. In her defense to tweeps who are calling her out, Asavele has had people in her corner who are sympathize with her.
