Media personality and activist Ngizwe Mchunu has sparked debate online after taking a swipe at social media personalities Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma and Phakelumthakathi Ndabandaba during a recent episode of the Bhinca podcast.

Clips from the podcast quickly made the rounds on social media, with many viewers weighing in on Ngizwe’s remarks. While some agreed with his views, others criticised him for singling out the two content creators.

Ngizwe Mchunu divides social media

The viral clip divided social media users.

Some felt Ngizwe was entitled to express his opinion and argued that public figures should be open to criticism. Others believed his comments were unnecessary and accused him of using the podcast to target fellow personalities.

The debate spilt across platforms, with users sharing differing views on whether Ngizwe’s remarks were justified or overly harsh.
