State prosecutor Elize le Roux has begun testing C-Track consultant Eric Deysel’s technical expertise, questioning his knowledge of the tracking devices’ firmware.

Deysel told the court that he had not received training on the firmware but maintained that a fully functioning C-Track unit installed in a SAPS vehicle would accurately record the vehicle’s movement and speed.
