Mamelodi Sundowns have a squad brimming with quality and can afford to loan out as many players every season.
With a rich history filled with trophies, they aim to bring in silverware season in, season out and are constantly stepping up their recruitment process.
While new players come in, it means trimming down the squad by loaning a number of first-teamers to get more game time.
FARPost takes a look at some of Downs’ players who are out on loan atdifferent teams in the PSL.
Promise Mkhuma
Mkhuma just completed his loan move to Swallows FC. The left-winger has been in sensational form at Sundowns whenever given a chance.
The former South African Under 20 player has made 23 appearances for Masandawana across all competitions since his promotion from the club’s reserve side in January 2020. The player will be aiming to prove a point at his new home and showcase his God-given talent.
Keletso Makgalwa
Makgalwa signed for TS Galaxy on a season-long loan, having spent the last campaign on loan at the Dube Birds where he played 27 games and scored one goal in the process. He played a significant role in helping Dylan Kerr’s side to retain the DStv Premiership status.
The 25-year-old winger will be hoping to make his presence felt during his loan stint at the Rockets and return back to his club as a more valuable player to fit in Sundowns’ setup.
Grant Margeman
Margeman joined Matsatsantsa on a two-year-loan contract from cross-town rivals Sundowns. He signed for Bafana Ba Style at the start of the 2020/21 season. The following season the 24-year-old was loaned out to Maswaiswai, where he played under 20 games.
Now, he will be hoping to get more game time at SuperSport under the tutelage of Gavin Hunt.
The talented left-back has rejoined Golden Arrows on a season-long loan deal from the Tshwane-based outfit. Lunga played 12 games in his maiden season with the Brazilians and he will be hoping for better fortunes at his former club, where he made 80 appearances before joining Sundowns last campaign.
Sammy Seabi
The experienced midfielder has signed a year-long loan deal with Sekhukhune United after spending the last term at Chippa United on loan.
Seabi has performed fantastically for the Chilli Boys in his 22 appearances and found the back of the net on two occasions to help the side survive the chop.
Siyanda Msani
The left-back, who can also play on the left midfield, will spend the rest of the season at the new kid on the block Richards Bay and has already featured in all three league games for the KwaZulu-Natal side.
The 21-year-old will be hoping to continue thriving at his temporary club with the aim to finally make a breakthrough into the Masandawana first team.
