Banyana Arrival Date Announced – iDiski Times

Newly-crowned African champions Banyana Banyana are set to arrive back in South Africa on Tuesday morning.

Desiree Ellis and her team lifted the 2022 WAFCON trophy on Saturday night, after beating hosts Morocco 2-1 in the final in Rabat.

The team are set to touch down in South Africa at 09h30 on Tuesday morning, and a large crowd is expected to gather at OR Tambo International Airport to welcome South Africa’s stars.

This was the first continental title for Banyana, having reached finals six times.

Fans have been invited to come and show their love to the African champions on their arrival.
