Kaizer Chiefs utility player Bernard Parker has cemented his legendary status with a brace against SuperSport United on Sunday.

Parker helped Chiefs beat SuperSport United 2-1 on the day, and subsequently, Stuart Baxter’s men moved up to fifth on the PSL log.

In so doing, Parker made history as he became Amakhosi’s all-time top goalscorer in the PSL era with 60 goals for the club across all competitions.

Going into the encounter at Lucas Moripe Stadium, Parker was sitting on 58 goals, tied with Chiefs legend Siphiwe Tshabalala.

It took a first-half stoppage time goal for Parker to move a goal ahead of Tshabalala as he made it 59 goals for Amakhosi.

SuperSport United then equalized through a Thamsanqa Gabuza goal that deflected off Njabulo Ngcobo.
