Former Baroka FC striker Ranga Chivaviro has reached an agreement to join Marumo Gallants ahead of the 2022/23 DStv Premiership season.
After stints in Kosova and in the Motsepe Championship Foundation with Venda Football Academy over the past two years the player has spent the last few weeks on trial at Gallants.
And the burly striker has impressed head coach Romain Folz who has now issued the message to management to get the player on board to bolster their attacking options.
The 29-year-old who enjoyed prolific spells in the second-tier looks set to be offered a two-year contract, subject to an agreement between two parties this week.
He’ll be hoping to now prove his worth in the top-flight after struggling to find consistency with Bakgaga during his first foray in the elite level of South African football.
