Health Minister Joe Phaahla has tested positive for COVID-19. After experiencing minor symptoms, the minister took tests which came back positive.
He is self-isolating at home and is expected to return to work in 7 days. Phaahla received two doses of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
The department is reminding the public that the pandemic is still active and vaccination sites are still open.
