Rumour has it that Gomora actress Katlego Danke, is reportedly pregnant, but she is keeping things under wraps for now.
According to Daily Sun, the actress who portrays Thathi Ndaba on Mzansi Magic’s award-winning telenovela Gomora, has made things difficult for the writers as they have to incorporate her pregnancy to the storyline.
If you are an avid watcher of the show, you would know that her character appears to be pregnant, but she is reportedly also expecting in real life. A source told the Daily Sun that the cast is aware that she is carrying. “It’s an open secret. The Gomora cast is already aware of it. Judging from her baby bump, she’ s halfway through,” said a source.
“According to her new script, Phumlani, played by Buyile Mdladla, is the baby daddy,” the source added. During recent episodes of Gomora Thathi has been at odds with her family and refuses to eat breakfast with them. Her mood swings have been noticeable and the source says the script writers are trying to incorporate her pregnancy into the storyline.
“She has only informed a few people, including the producers so that they could incorporate her pregnancy into her script,” said another source.
“By now viewers might have noticed unexplained mood swings from Thathi. She’s been acting strange and throwing tantrums. This is not a coincidence. The writers are trying to introduce Thathi’s new storyline.”
This will be Katlego’s second baby because she gave birth to her son – now three years old – in 2017. The star actress has managed to keep the identity of the child’s father a secret.
She recently gushed over son after he bought presents for everyone on Yay Day. She posted a picture of her son while he was playing the piano and said he is a budding muso.
“Apparently Tuesday was ‘Yay Day’. So this little beautiful hearted soul went about buying presents for everyone including himself to celebrate ‘Yay Day’. I pray your good hearted nature is never challenged to the point of doubt. I pray that you continue to see the value in being kind and selfless for the rest of your life. I pray that all that love that you give so effortlessly finds it’s way right back to you. PS we were also treated to a freestyled track by the budding muso,” she wrote.
Although much is not known about Katlego’s family. She often post her mother on her birthday. Last year in November, she penned a sweet birthday message for her mother.
“It’s the birthday of a queen. She who gave me birth. She who is my Day One. She who soothes all the tears and pain to this very day. She who loves me in the true definition of love. She to whom I am grateful for all the lessons, the love, the patience and understanding and the friendship. Happy birthday my Queen.
