ANC Deputy Secretary General, Jessie Duarte, will be laid to rest on Sunday afternoon.
Duarte passed away early on Sunday morning after battling cancer for months.
She had been on a leave of absence from her political duties since late last year.
She will be laid to rest as per Muslim religion.
