Swallows FC have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Thakasani Mbanjwa from AmaTuks ahead of the 2022/23 DStv Premiership season.
The former South Africa youth international stopper returns to the top-flight after two years in the Motsepe Foundation Championship with Cape United and Tuks.
His performances as Tuks finished second, before their promotion play-off heartbreak and their run to the Nedbank Cup semi-finals attracted plenty of suitors.
However, the Dube Birds have now snapped up the former SuperSport United man on a two-year deal with an option to extend by one season as he joins his former teammates Keegan Allan at the club.
Swallows have now added four new additions to their squad after Waseem Isaacs and Lindokuhle Mtshali, formerly of Stellenbosch and Golden Arrows joined their ranks this week.
