Author and motivational speaker Rachel Kolisi, the estranged wife of Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, revealed that she had been admitted into hospital via an Instagram post on Monday 18 May.

RACHEL KOLISI ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL

Author Rachel Kolisi revealed that she was admitted into hospital, without specifying what had happened. In good spirits Rachel revealed that she had thought of different captions for the post. However, she also noted that all is well and that she was grateful to be loved, as she shared photos of her family in the hospital room, alongside her two children – Nicholas (11) and Keziah (9), who she shares with Springboks captain Siya Kolisi.

Take a look…

“Had a few ideas for the caption of this one! 😂. Took @fallingforward__ a little too seriously.
POV: when you carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. Nothing like morphine and friendship.
Doctors said “take a load off.” I got competitive. On a serious note, all is well,” she wrote.

“What a blessing it is to be loved 🥹♥️,” she continued.

RACHEL KOLISI ON ‘LIVING IN A DREAM’

This came after Rachel shared an album post from attending the Franschhoek Literary Festival.

“Living in a dream ✨♥️. My very first @franlitfest and it was SO FUN!,” she wrote.

Rachel has had a busy few months as she launched her book and premiered her documentary titled Falling Forward. This came after her split from Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, after eight years of marriage.

Siya has since moved on with 25-year-old influencer Rachel John, with romance rumours beginning to swirl towards the end of 2025. The pair has since been to Victoria Falls together, Los Angeles and New York.

Rachel has also clapped back at those who criticised her cooking.
