Isaacs Joins Swallows – iDiski Times

Former Stellenbosch striker Waseem Isaacs has sealed a move to another DStv Premiership club, signing for Swallows.

‘Simo’ was released by Stellies last month after scoring just once in 19 games, mostly used as a backup option since the arrival of Judas Moseamedi.

However, the 31-year-old, who fired them to promotion from the GladAfrica Championship and scored eight goals in his debut top-flight campaign, has proven himself a decent goalscorer when given a key role.

With the Dube Birds facing reported financial constraints, Isaacs is believed to have been earmarked as an ideal addition to their goal-shy attack, while former Mamelodi Sundowns right-back Thabo Moloisane is another said to be heading to Dobsonville next season.

iDiski Times reached out to Isaacs representative Grant Nieuwenhuys, at GN Sports Agency, who confirmed the deal with Swallows was done.
