Activists want legal action against River Club developers

Indigenous and environmental activists want the developers behind a multi-billion-rand development on the banks of Liesbeek River in Cape Town arrested.

They claim the developers are in contempt of a high court order prohibiting construction.

But the Liesbeek Leisure Property Trust is going ahead with construction, citing a case at the Supreme Court of Appeal.
