Former KZN Academy left-back Nkanyiso Shinga has secured a move to Liga Portugal 2 side CF Estrela Amadora ahead of the new season.
Shinga, 22, has been in Portugal since August 2018 when he signed for Vitoria Setúbal, where he played in the U19 before his impressive displays saw him promoted to the U23s.
In 2020, in a bid to find senior first-team football he then joined CD Pinhalnovense, where he made 23 starts and registered 11 assists in the fourth tier which has earned him a move two divisions up.
The club have since unveiled the South Africa youth international on a two-year deal among a host of new signings as he embarks on an exciting new journey in his fifth season abroad.
