Man stabs his brother’s wife to death over food

Limpopo Police in Mokwakwaila outside Tzaneen have arrested a 59-year-old man for stabbing his sister in-law, Dikeledi Gloria Rakubu (38) with an object after argument over food on Tuesday, 05 July 2022.

It is alleged that the suspect went to deceased’s homestead where he used to get food as his brother who is in Gauteng left his wife at their home. On arrival the suspect demanded food and the deceased informed him that the food is not yet ready. Then the argument ensued between the two in front of the deceased’s daughter then the suspect stabbed the deceased on the chest where she died on the scene.

Mokwakwaila Police report further indicate that the 59-year-old suspect who is the brother in-law of the deceased was later arrested by Mokwakwaila police and charged with murder.
