‘Wildest little boy’: Handre and Marise Pollard’s son turns two!

Springboks fly-half Handre Pollard and his wife Marise Pollard celebrated their first-born Hunter Andre Pollard turning two on 25 April.

Springbok Handre Pollard and his wife Marise welcomed their first born baby boy Hunter Andre Pollard on 25 April 2024. Hunter turned two years old this year and the parents are beaming with pride. Taking to Instagram, Marise shared a touching clip of a two-year-old Hunter and several clips of when he was a baby as she rreminisced. Take a look…

“A full two years of our dearest wildest little boy, thank you Jesus 🤍,” she wrote.

Handre and Marise have been together for over 13 years. The pair connected through Facebook back in 2012. A few years later, Handre and Marise tied the knot at Cavalli Estate in the Cape Winelands in 2017 and have been happily married since!

The couple lived in the UK in 2022 when Handre joined rugby team Leicester Tigers. In 2025, the pair moved back to South Africa as Handre rejoined The Bulls. The couple built their dream home, and Marise opened up about raising her kids like it is the 1990s.

Handre and Marise are also parents to Isabella Tanya Pollard, who recently turned six months old on 20 April. Marise took to Instagram to share a sweet and touching tribute to her baby girl Isabella calling her the kindest and softest girl. Take a look…

“Half a year of you, babygirl 🤍. You showed up in the chaos and just incurred as if you were always part of us. You changed our rhythm in the most beautiful way. Our days are fuller, louder and softer all at the same time,” she wrote.

“You came and changed everything. My weather has come to change. You are the kindest, softest little girl and it is the greatest privilege to be able to be your mommy, dearest Bells 🤍,” she continued.
