Tlhopie Motsepe was born and bred in Durban. He is the son of the famous businessman Patrice Motsepe; he grew up in a wealthy family. However, although his family was rich, his father, Patrice Motsepe, understood the value of education in one’s life and ensured his son had the best education.

Tlhopie did his primary and secondary school at one of the best schools in South Africa. The schools he attended are unknown as his family is private and loves to keep their lifestyle away from the media. Rumours have it that Patrice Motsepe bought an expensive car Supercharged B7 Audi RS4, after Tlhopie passed his matric with flying colours.

After passing his matric with good grades, Tlhopie registered for tertiary education at the University of Witwatersrand, where he studied for a Degree in Law. He proves that he is Patrice Motsepe’s favourite son by studying the same degree as his father and mentor. Following his graduation with his degree in Law, Tlhopie Motsepe pursued a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

Besides inheriting most of his business empire from his billionaire father, Tlhopie is the epitome of hard work and stops at nothing to secure the bag. Together with his business partners Tariq Yusuf, Rudi van der Westhuizen and Brent Peterson, they own ePower Holdings, a solar energy production company in South Africa.

Tlhopie Motsepe is a young man who wears many hats. He also has his hands in mining businesses like his father, and he is doing well in his company, as evidenced by his net worth multiplication.
