Taking to social media, Nhlanhla Mafu celebrated her son publicly in an open letter, expressing her heartfelt joy.

“We have witnessed the late nights, the discipline, the tears, and the faith you have poured into your gift. We have watched you work in silence…so today we celebrate you loudly,” she penned.

The Mafikizolo star further took the opportunity to give thanks to God and to acknowledge the power of prayer.

“These awards are not luck, they are answered prayers. I stand proud knowing that this is what God has ordained.”

Ciza’s father, TK Nciza, also expressed pride in his achievement, while thanking Nhlanhla for her role as a mother.

“Kulungile ukuthandaza Ciza (It is good to pray, Ciza). Work hard the world will see you. Thank you for teaching. He has been ready for these moments because of you. Thank you Mama”.
