South African singer and songwriter Lerato Moipone Molapo, known professionally as Lira, will headline a special Mother’s Day concert on Sunday, 10 May 2026 at NIROX Sculpture Park in Krugersdorp.

The NIROX Foundation confirmed the performance on social media, sharing: “Lira @miss_lira returns to the NIROX amphitheatre this Mother’s Day, full band in tow, delivering the anthemic music and unforgettable performances that have made her one of South Africa’s most beloved artists.”

LIRA HEADLINES A DAY OF ART, MUSIC AND WINE

The MOM concert will offer more than just live music, bringing together art, wine, gourmet food, and a relaxed outdoor experience. Guests can explore the Sommelier’s Selection, which features wines from some of South Africa’s most celebrated regions, including Constantia, Stellenbosch, and Franschhoek. Attendees will have the opportunity to sip, savour, and shop while discovering the stories and unique qualities behind each vineyard.

LIRA LEADS A LIFESTYLE EXPERIENCE FOR ALL AGES

In addition to the music, the event promises a vibrant lifestyle experience for all ages. The Epicurean Emporium will provide a curated culinary journey with gourmet fare and artisanal treats, while Bernie’s Bar will offer a full selection of fine wines, crafted cocktails, spirits, and refreshments throughout the day. Families are also catered for, with Play Africa providing creative and engaging activities that focus on playful learning and development for children.

Master of ceremonies Ithateng Mokgoro, a designer, thinker, and curator of ideas, hosts the event. Organisers set tickets prices at R650 for early bird access, R750 for general admission, and R900 for final admission, while they allow children aged 12 and under to attend for R80 and admit infants aged two and under free of charge.
